HOUSE PROUD | SEASON 2
Aalok desired a place which is young, bright and functional. A place he wants to use for his shoots and also to entertain guests.
He didn’t want anything dark/heavy on the eyes so we went ahead with a Scandinavian approach to this place with a mix of industrial to make it more functional. The color palette I have chosen is very light and easy to sink in with instead of absorbing the light these colors would reflect them well making the space look bigger and brighter.
The biggest challenge in the space is his flooring and the walls (Painting the walls wasn't permitted here). I have changed the marble flooring and added color in form of paintings. The space has a good view of the trees and for me nothing cheers up a lonely corner like a potted plant, so a lot of low maintenance plants.
His storage unit was a much needed item for him but the color made it look even more bulky so a light blue color for that and more organisers for his photo equipment.
The alcove was very messy and unorganised but was a great opportunity for hygge. So I added the cushions with a muted linen to match it to my new color scheme and mood of the place.
